Forest Architectural Supplies Ltd, suppliers of architectural ironmongery
and fixings to the building trade throughout the Midlands, is the latest occupier
to acquire a unit in Odin Estates’ new industrial development Wetmore
Malsters, in Burton-on-Trent.
The four-year old firm, presently in Anglesey Road, is moving into the 3,250
sq ft unit at the end of June, following Parker & Son (Printers) who recently
bought two units in the development.
Odin Estates, who are backed by Hillary’s Properties Ltd, has developed
11 industrial units on the former maltings site in Wetmore Road.
“It’s a major move for us,” explained Ian Walker, a director
of Forest Architectural with David Shephard. “We are putting all our
operations under one roof with a view to opening a trade counter in the near
future.”
Paul Rushton of Rushton Hickman, joint sales agent on the scheme with North
Rae Sanders, said: “We are very encouraged by the healthy on-going level
of interest in the recently-completed development.
“The remaining eight units available range from 1,524 sq ft to 4,239
sq ft but units can be combined.”
Cliff Dare, director of Odin, said: “We are delighted to welcome to
The Maltings Forest Architectural Supplies, another occupier attracted by
the high quality environment we have created here.”
Hillary’s were advised by Fisher Hargreaves Proctor.
