July, 2008
Midland property agents experienced the thrill of Formula One Grand Prix motor
racing at the launch of Odin Estates’ Wetmore Maltings - Burton-on-Trent’s
latest office and business space development which has quickly attracted a
number of firms eager to move into enlarged and modern accommodation.
They stepped into F1 cars and lived out dreams of becoming a Lewis Hamilton
as they took the wheel of the simulated racing cars to ‘race’
around the circuit, watched by admiring onlookers.
The fastest lap - 1.29.696 minutes - was recorded by Alex Tross of Colliers
CRE, a fraction ahead of Lambert Smith Hampton's Tim Holtham who clocked 1.29.856
minutes. In third place was Kelvin Craddock of Jones Lang LaSalle whose time
was 1.30.276 minutes.
The agents from Burton, Birmingham and the surrounds, stepped out of the racing
limelight to view the 66,000 sq ft of newly refurbished office, business and
light industrial development that Odin, who are backed by Hillary’s
Properties Ltd, advised by Fisher Hargreaves Proctor, have developed on the
former maltings site in Wetmore Road.
Rushton Hickman and North Rae Sanders have already sold three units and a
fourth is in solicitors hands. Parker & Son (Printers) has acquired two
units totalling 4,800 sq ft and Forest Architectural Supplies Ltd bought a
3,250 sq ft unit.
Issued on behalf of Odin Estates by Paul Raymer of Howle Chapman Raymer (0121
